Every Pacific student deserves an interview outfit that makes them feel confident. But for many, business attire is an unaffordable expense. Since 2017, the Career Closet has provided free professional clothing for students and recent graduates, who can select individual pieces or an entire ensemble for interviews, workshops, networking events and more. Donations of new or gently used professional clothing are welcome year-round. So far this academic year, 310 students have visited the closet.
“I was so nervous for my interview already and not having the clothing needed to make a positive first impression created additional stress. Coming from a low-income background, it’s hard to go out and shop for professional clothing. It’s such a blessing to have this resource available to students like me and it has truly been a lifesaver during my college career.” - Pacific Student
The Career Closet currently serves students largely on a loan basis, due to a limited supply. Generous support from donors like you help the Career Closet expand its inventory to include more diverse and popular sizes. Help students step into their careers with dignity, self-esteem and confidence by making a gift today!
"First impressions always start off with appearance, and the Career Closet has helped me feel confident in my skills and looks. The easy accessibility combined with the nonjudgmental, supportive atmosphere of the Career Center has helped me feel more comfortable and self-assured when I am in interviews, attending public events and networking. I love this resource so much – it makes me feel acknowledged and supported.” - Pacific Student
