Support Pacific’s Sustainability Initiatives

As a living laboratory dedicated to cultivating sustainability solutions for our planet and those on it, the University of the Pacific is committed to creating a campus culture that advances sustainable practices and knowledge. The Office of Sustainability guides and supports these efforts in academics, campus infrastructure, programs and co-curricular activities to build a future where society, economy and the environment thrive. With an eye toward the future, the university has set the ambitious goal to earn a STARS Platinum rating from the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System by 2030. Your support on Pacific Gives can help us get there.

"I volunteer with Sustainability because I believe even small actions can have a meaningful impact on our environment. Being part of initiatives that promote sustainable practices has been both rewarding and inspiring. It’s fulfilling to contribute to a community that values environmental stewardship." - Pacific Student

Gifts of any amount help support Pacific’s sustainability initiatives such as the Pacific Garden Program, alternate transportation options for students, student professional development opportunities and waste minimization programs like Green Team who help divert approximately 3,500 pounds of items from landfills every year. Not only do these initiatives support the longevity of a livable planet, but they help teach our students what it means to care for themselves and our global community.
