Pacific Summer High School Institute

The Pacific Summer High School Institute is a two-week residential pre-college summer program designed for curious high school students to live, learn and grow on our beautiful Stockton campus. During the program, summer institute students become immersed in cutting-edge topics and issues through learning environments focused on real-world, hands-on experiences in our labs, studios, fields and makerspaces with our faculty. In short, Pacific Institute students experience college firsthand.

An all-residential student-centric pre-college summer institute where students:

  • Learn from university professors in 60+ different programs.
  • Participate in extra-curricular programming on study habits, mental health and the college application process.
  • Experience student life on a four-year university campus.
  • Forge new friendships and make university professor contacts.
  • Perhaps for the first time begin to see themselves on a college campus.
