McGeorge School of Law

Having recently celebrated our centennial, McGeorge School of Law is ready for the next chapter of its legacy. The Law School remains dedicated to providing a distinctive legal education focused on academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and experiential learning. As McGeorge continues to grow, the curriculum evolves to ensure we remain responsive to the needs of today’s law students and the evolving landscape of the legal profession. With a solid foundation built by an amazing network of over 15,000 alumni, McGeorge is excited for the future that lies ahead in its next 100 years.

We invite you to be part of McGeorge's continued success by supporting one of the following key areas during Pacific Gives 2025. You may also choose to contribute directly to any scholarship or program within McGeorge School of Law by selecting “Other” on the donation form. Together, we can empower the next generation of leaders.

Diverse Bar Exam Support Stipend

This stipend aims to advance diversity within the legal community by supporting underrepresented students during bar preparation, with the goal of increasing McGeorge’s bar pass percentage rate and support diverse students who need additional financial assistance to free up time to study for the bar exam.

John R. Lasser Part-Time Student Tuition Scholarship

The Lasser Scholarship is for part-time law students facing significant financial barriers to pay for their required summer courses. Priority is given to students who cannot use subsidized federal student loans. The scholarship is named for the late Joseph Robert Lasser, a generous individual who cared deeply about access to higher education.

McGeorge Fund

The McGeorge Fund provides immediate support for emergent needs, including student support, program development and enrichment, and classroom improvements. The Dean may direct resources where they're needed most, ensuring student success.

McGeorge Virtual Food Pantry

The Virtual Food Pantry provides grocery store cards to McGeorge students experiencing food insecurity. The pantry ensures that students have their basic needs met so they can focus on their education.  Students may obtain a $100 grocery store card up to two times per semester. This fund provides monies for immediate use.
