Exciting changes are happening as the University Libraries are being transformed into a modern, technologically equipped, learner-centered resource for 21st-century teaching and learning. The current renovation of the William Knox Holt Memorial Library on the Stockton Campus is part of the libraries' redesign plans to provide holistic and supportive learning experiences that reflect how students live and learn today.
Some of the improvements to the Library include:
- Flexible and inviting study spaces that are easily adapted for individual study or group collaboration
- Improved delivery of library services, including research collections, education, technology and consultation services, and learning spaces
- A student academic success hub that co-locates providers of tutoring and writing and other academic support to make learning resources and services visible and accessible
- Enhanced faculty development spaces in the Center for Teaching and Learning, and spaces that inspire and nurture faculty work and interdisciplinary collaboration
