College of the Pacific
Professional development with experience that matters

College of the Pacific offers a modern liberal arts and sciences education that prepares students for today's world. Both in and out of the classroom, our students contribute to a wide range of projects that benefit our communities. We strive to engage students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences from the moment they arrive on campus. From experiential learning programs to state-of-the-art technology, we pride ourselves on providing students with impactful opportunities.

We encourage you to support Pacific students with a gift to one of the opportunities below. You may also direct your gift to any area within College of the Pacific by selecting “Other” on the donation form.

College of the Pacific Retention Scholarship Fund

Retention scholarships keep students at Pacific and on track to complete their degrees. Through the generosity of donors, the College of the Pacific Retention Scholarship Fund provides awards of up to $10,000, which is the average gap in funding. Students may apply for a retention scholarship anytime throughout the year.

Dr. Carol Ann Hackley Experiential Learning Endowment

A stalwart of the Communication and PR Department for decades, Dr. Hackley inspired generations of Pacificans to achieve great things. A gift to the Dr. Carol Ann Hackley Experiential Learning Endowment ensures future Tigers in Communication and PR have access to high quality, experience-centered learning opportunities.

Donate today and join us this fall at Homecoming 2023 for a Communication and PR reunion

Dr. Charles Matuszak Endowed Chemistry Scholarship

Inspired by the generosity of Professor Emeritus Charles Matuszak, a gift to this fund supports exceptional hardworking graduate students in Pacific’s chemistry programs. Did you take a class from Dr. Matuszak, or know someone who did? Donate today to show your appreciation!

Richard D. Yip Memorial Art Supplies Award

In memory of COP alumnus and famous watercolorist Richard D. Yip, a gift to this fund helps students buy art supplies.

Born in China in 1918, Yip immigrated to the United States in 1931, enlisted in the US Air Force during WWII, and following his service spent a few years in China studying classical Chinese painting. Returning to California with his wife and first child, Yip enrolled at Pacific and earned his degree in 1951.
