What is Pacific Gives 2017?
Pacific Gives is the University of the Pacific's annual Day of Giving. It's your chance to explore some of the opportunities to support our students and faculty and give to the area you feel most passionate about.
Pacific Gives is also your chance to show your Pacific Pride on social media. You can tell others about your purpose and encourage them to support the area of Pacific you feel most passionately about.
Are gifts to Pacific Gives tax deductible?
Yes. You will receive a receipt via email after making an online gift to Pacific Gives that you can use for tax purposes.
I saw a blank webpage after making my gift, was it processed?
Yes, after making your gift you might be redirected to a blank webpage. You can head back to www.pacific.edu/pacificgives and see your gift impact our total!
Why do universities have Days of Giving?
Days of Giving are an opportunity for Universities like Pacific to inform their alumni and supporters about the amazing things students and faculty are achieving and allow donors to support that success. It's also a way for you to show off your school spirit and spread the word about the amazing things going on at Pacific.
What's a Pacific Gives Ambassador?
Participating as a Pacific Ambassador is one of the most important ways to help ensure the success of Pacific Gives 2017. Ambassadors spread the word about Pacific gives via email, social media, and word of mouth to help us generate more interest in our giving day page and raise more gifts for our wonderful students and faculty. Our Ambassador Toolkit provides step by step instructions for how you can spread the word and help us achieve our goal of 500 gifts to Pacific in 24 hours.
Do I have to make my gift online?
No. If you'd prefer to send in a check or drop off a check or cash on campus you may do so and your results will be added to our Day of Giving total on the website. To drop off a cash or check gift on campus please visit Bannister Hall, located next to the Baun Fitness Center and close to the DeRosa University Center.
Will all of the funds I donate go to the program of my choice?
Yes. 100% of the dollars raised during our Day of Giving go directly towards supporting the area of your choice. We do not remove any of your gift for processing fees.
Do I have to be a Pacific Alum to participate in Pacific Gives?
No. Anyone who wants to supports Pacific students is welcome to make a gift during Pacific Gives 2017

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. Every gift to Pacific Gives is 100% tax deductible. You will automatically receive a receipt for tax purposes via email after completing your transaction.
Will my credit card information be stored by Pacific or Scalefunder?
No. Your card information is not saved by either University of the Pacific or Scalefunder once you have completed your transaction.
