2017-2018 is shaping up to be a thrilling year for Men's Basketball at Pacific. Under the direction of Head Coach and former NBA star Damon Stoudamire, the Tigers are taking on a schedule full of high-profile opponents.
Pacific's conference slate opens with a nationally televised game at defending conference champion Gonzaga on December 28 at 6 p.m. PT on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The University of the Pacific men's basketball team will play 14 non-conference contests this season, eight of which are set to be played at home at the Alex G. Spanos Center. The Tigers will play host to Bethesda University, UC Davis, Nevada, Arkansas-Fort Smith, UNLV, and the MTE Round Robin, which will feature Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Texas State, and Canisius over Thanksgiving weekend.
The Tigers are pleased to welcome a duo of new transfer players this season; graduate student and center Namdi Okonkwo, and Khyber "Khy" Kabellis, who will redshirt during his first year at Pacific per NCAA rules. Pacific is also excited to welcome highly touted freshman guard from Los Angeles to the men's team.
