Let's Establish the Class of 1966 Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships change lives, and positively impact the lives of Pacific students each and every year. More than 50 years ago we attended Pacific - we know the value of that extraordinary education. Just as generous donors invested in us, we can now pay that gift forward by establishing the Class of 1966 Endowed Scholarship.
We have set a goal to raise $50,000 in support of student success by endowing a scholarship in the name of the Class of 1966.
When our goal is reached, we will have the opportunity to double our impact through a unique matching opportunity - The Powell Match. In October 2013, Pacific announced a transformational gift of $125 million from the estate of Robert and Jeannette Powell. The Powells believed deeply in the value of a Pacific education, and a portion of their gift has been designated to fund a matching campaign for endowed scholarships -- like ours -- to aid deserving Pacific students.
When we reach our $50,000 goal, our class endowment will be a very impressive $100,000! The Class of 1966 will be remembered each year when the earnings from our endowment are awarded to talented Pacific students.
We cannot think of a better way to honor the Class of 1966 and show our Pacific Pride than to share in giving the gift of education to the more than 87% of worthy student scholars who receive some form of financial aid.
Let's join the Classes of 1963, 1964 and 1965 and qualify for a Powell Match and endow our scholarship! Be a part of the new legacy of Pacific's Class of 1966 by making your generous gift today.
We are looking forward to seeing you in May!
