The Pacifican is a long-standing tradition of student-run publication focusing on the voices of the student body through concrete and detail-oriented journalism and has been since 1908. We boast weekly publications of articles relating to news, opinions, lifestyles, and sports.
This year, the staff is working to rebuild and rebrand The Pacifican to make it bigger and better than ever before, while simultaneously preserving its legacy as Pacific’s official newspaper. Through a growing staff, new and returning members, an official posting schedule of over five weekly articles, and a brand-new email newsletter, we endeavor to encourage and cultivate campus life and a sense of community.
Your generous gift and support will help us continue to pay student-staff members, send our aspiring journalists to conferences, continue growing as Pacific’s only recognized student newspaper, and be able to bring back a semesterly print version of the newspaper. As a pinnacle of the university for over a decade, we vow to continue bringing stories to life, but we need your help to do so. Please donate today!
