CHRIS KJELDSEN POOL AT THE DOUGLASS M EBERHARDT AQUATICS CENTER
WHAT IS PLEDGE PLUNGE?
Pledge Plunge is a fundraiser for Pacific Swimming where all the proceeds go towards enhancing team travel opportunities, including training trips, out of region travel, and non-NCAA post-season travel.
Swimmers earn money for their team by swimming lengths of the pool. One lap is 25 yards. Swimmers have a 1-hour period to swim as many laps as they can.
Swimmers get pledges per lap or flat donations from family, friends, neighbors, businesses, etc. prior to swimming.
WHAT WILL WE DO AT THE PLUNGE?
Athletes will swim as many laps as they can during the 1 hour period.
Each swimmer will have someone counting laps for them.
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
There are 2 ways for you to participate in the Pledge Plunge.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING DONATIONS?
We ask that all flat rate donations be collected at the time the pledge is given.
Per lap donations are requested within 1 week of the completion of the swim (Saturday, October 19). Each athlete will be responsible for contacting their donors to let them know the amount due.
