Charting a New Course: Empowering the Next Generation

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at Pacific invites you – our family, friends and alumni – to make an annual gift to support upcoming programs and initiatives that greatly impact our members and beyond. Your generosity will help us participate in programs like:

CALIFORNIA SOLAR REGATTA COMPETITION:

A two-day competition where regional teams design, build and race solar-powered boats. Funding will enable us to improve our boat, including the purchase of materials, equipment and more. We also plan to mentor local high school students interested in engineering, using our past experience and knowledge to help them build a boat of their own.

SOCIETY OF HISPANIC PROFESSONAL ENGINEERS (SHPE) NATIONAL CONVENTION:

The SHPE National Convention is the country's largest annual gathering of Hispanic STEM students and professionals. The convention brings together over 9,000 of the best and brightest scientists, mathematicians, and engineers, showcasing their skills and networking. Funding support will ensure that we can send 5 dedicated Pacific members to the upcoming SHPE National Convention in Anaheim, California. This experience offers numerous workshops and social gatherings to connect and prepare thousands of Hispanic STEM students with the very best professionals and skills.

Your giving will help us secure materials, tools, equipment, transportation, entry fees, travel, lodging, and professional development opportunities. More importantly, your generosity will also provide our members with exceptional, hands-on, and life-changing experiences that foster the next generation of innovators and environmental champions. THANK YOU!
