The Goal
Friday evening the Pacific men's basketball team roared to its first win of the season, downing California 87-79 on the road. It was the first time the Tigers beat a Pac-12 opponent since 1994, last beating Oregon State. It was also the first time since 1954 that California lost to the Tigers at home.
To keep the momentum going following the big win, we are launching a Pacific Men's Basketball 48-Hour Giving Campaign with the goal of raising $30,000 to celebrate our first win against a Pac-12 opponent in 30 years!
As an added incentive, thanks to the generosity of Wilson and Leanne Yu, once men's basketball raises $10,000, it will unlock a matching gift of $10,000 bring us to $20,000! This will be a great start to our ultimate goal of $30,000!
Every gift counts, no matter the size, and will make a huge impact on our student-athletes. We thank you for your support and we hope to see you in the Spanos Center this season! GO TIGERS!
