Gifts to the Pacific Fund directly support student emergency needs.

Each year, many students experience unexpected challenges such as the loss of a parent or a job. They look to their Pacific community for help to overcome these hardships and emergencies that are often beyond their financial capacity. The Pacific Fund serves as the campus lifeline of immediate, unrestricted gifts and emergency support. 

A portion of this fund is directed to critical support services that may include medical care, housing supplements, technology/computers, transportation and more. Here are just a few examples of how your gift to the Pacific Fund will impact students:

Last year, student emergency assistance awards totaled $13,800 and helped 57 students. Your gift today, at any amount, will help ensure students this year can ....

$150 to assist students who live alone off-campus and need support with groceries and medications while isolating with COVID. 

$250 to pay for a student’s gas for an emergency trip home following a serious motorcycle accident their father was in. Being able to go home for one weekend and see family, check-in with Dad, meant this student could focus on classes upon their return. 

$500 to help with basic needs, food, toiletries, and diapers for student with family. This temporary assistance got them through until they can fully access food pantry, and financial aid funds.
