Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA)

The mission of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) is to promote a greater understanding of Asian Pacific American culture and to serve as a support network for Asian Pacific American students and the McGeorge Law School community.

This year, APALSA reached a record-high number of 12 board members and representatives. We are extremely proud of the eagerness of our students to be more involved, and we are committed to continuing our growth.

To help us achieve our goals, we would greatly appreciate your generous support through a donation today. Your gift will be used to support our biggest event of the year (Culture Night!), sponsor students to attend local bar events to increase career networking opportunities, and fund social and professional events to build camaraderie and prepare Asian Pacific American students for their legal careers.

Each spring, APALSA hosts Culture Night, inviting prominent jurists, public interest advocates, law firm partners, and policymakers to participate in panels and network with law school students. The event attracts dozens of participants in the Sacramento area and serves as a forum for discussing pressing political, social, and cultural issues affecting minorities. This year, we are excited to announce that we have expanded our collaboration to include Unity Caucus, Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA), Middle Eastern and South Asian Association (MESAA), Native American Law Students Association (NALSA), Women's Caucus, and People's Parity Project. We are greatly appreciative of the participation and excitement of our fellow McGeorge registered student organizations and are intent on making this year’s event the biggest and greatest one yet!

We hope you will join us on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 5:30-8 p.m. in the McGeorge Student Center.

Thank you for your support and commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within our community. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the future leaders of the legal profession.
