International Student Hospitality Program

Please join us in welcoming our international students by making a gift to support the International Student Hospitality Program.  Your gift will enable us to purchase the food and household items our students need. Together, we can provide a proper welcome for our international students and do our best to make them feel at home here at McGeorge.

McGeorge welcomes international students from all over the world each semester.  Our care for them is holistic and stretches far beyond academics.  Each semester, we provide hospitality packages that include the following items:

We take the students shopping to purchase groceries when they arrive on campus, and we maintain a small food pantry where our students can help themselves to a snack if they are hungry.  We also stock a closet of donated household items that students may borrow for the semester and provide a vacuum cleaner for them to keep their apartment clean.  We help alleviate the cost of establishing a new home in a foreign country by providing items that a student traveling across the world with nothing will find useful to set up their home on campus.

"The hospitality package was a really nice surprise. The package provided me with the essentials that helped to establish my new home on the campus. Due to luggage restrictions, I was not able to take all the necessary things with me, such as towels or bedding. I was happy to see that McGeorge prepared it for me. Additionally, I was able to borrow dishes and utensils from the closet of donated items, which helped me save time and money."
